1998 (West Cross) Squadron

• 1998 (West Cross) Squadron is located on Mumbles Road, in West Cross.

• Our small & welcoming squadron recruits cadets aged 12 years – 17 years old, open to both male and female.

• Based on a TA Base we have the advantage of our own indoor shooting range, drill & sports hall and the beach on our doorstep.

• Our squadron offers a wide range of activities, projects and qualifications, such as the Duke of Edinburgh Award (Bronze, Silver & Gold), First Aid at Work, BTEC Aviation, Public Service & Music, Overseas Camp & UK Camps, Shooting, Sports, Flying, Charitable work & work within the community and much more.

• We parade every Tuesday and Thursday, 7pm til 9.15pm.

• We are currently recruiting new cadets & staff members.

• Staff must be aged 20 years and over and a DBS check will be carried out.
